When the traffic sign poles leave the factory, we will pack the flanges to prevent collision and damage from traffic sign poles during transportation. We can wrap it in a blanket. Meanwhile, we will tie the bottom ribs on the upper part with straw ropes. Nylon slings should be used when loading, nylon slings should be used when unloading, and wire ropes should not be used when lifting. Traffic signs should be placed on all goods and packaged in bubble bags. If there are multiple signs, it is recommended to tie the two design surfaces to the packaging machine to prevent scratching the layout during transportation.
Unloading: It is recommended to remove the traffic sign poles in turn, first remove the traffic signs, and then remove the cross arm and riser. If unloading on site, it is recommended to check the base’s wing edge and flanges under the vertical pole to ensure proper unloading.
Road traffic sign pole cargo inspection: All products shipped to the site should be accepted in accordance with the technical standards agreed by both parties and approved for acceptance after confirmation by on-site supervision. If there is any objection, we should raise objections to us in a timely manner, otherwise it will be deemed to meet the acceptance conditions.
Before installing traffic sign poles, the situation around the site should be found out and the road construction should be closed under conditions to ensure that unrelated personnel cannot perform the installation site. If the road cannot be closed, construction and speed reduction tips should be set 500 meters in front and back of the installation site, and the reflection cone should be placed at the starting distance 50 meters from the installation point. All on-site construction personnel should wear reflective vests.
Installation: Installation can only be done after supervision confirms that the foundation strength meets the installation conditions. The installation method of traffic sign poles is as follows:
1. The vertical rod of the traffic sign pole should be placed on a flat ground, and the direction of the horizontal arm should be parallel to the ground;
2. The protective pad should be set at the installation position of the horizontal arm, and the traffic sign pattern should be placed on one side of the ground. Adjust the distance between the sign and the bottom flange and adjust the distance between the sign and the bottom flange.
3. Install the cross arm, correct the cross arm perpendicular to the vertical rod, and use a hoop to fix the traffic sign on the cross arm.
Road traffic sign pole hoisting: Use a nylon sling to connect the vertical pole to the upper cross arm, tie the auxiliary rope to the end of the lower cross arm, and after lifting, one to two construction personnel lift the auxiliary rope to ensure the smooth installation of the flange at the bottom of the traffic sign pole. After setting up traffic sign poles, the layout of traffic signs should be cleaned to ensure that the layout is clean.
