Key points of detailed design of traffic sign poles

Traffic sign poles are also called road sign poles, which are familiar to everyone. There are tens of millions of roads, the first is safety, and are widely used in expressways, urban roads and various roads. Its main functions are: providing road information, playing a road language role, commanding and controlling traffic, ensuring traffic safety, guiding roads, and improving driving efficiency.     1. Aluminum plate splicing

   The main problem in aluminum plate splicing is that the rivet marks are obvious after aluminum plate splicing, and the reflective film at the splicing is prone to zigzag cracks. The solution is to first put the aluminum plate at the rivet into the size of the rivet, and then use a grinding wheel to smooth the rivet head, which basically solves the problem of obvious rivet marks. In order to prevent irregular cracks, after applying the film, the reflective film will be artificially broken into a straight line at the joint of the aluminum plate.

    2. Engraving and assembly

    The high-strength reflective film has poor toughness and hardness, so the engraving process requires sharp engraving tools. There are now a large number of manufacturers of engraving machines and engraving machines in China. However, the high-strength reflective film for engraving materials - high-strength reflective film - is not something that ordinary engraving machines can do well. Although the domestic engraving cutting head production technology and quality have made great progress, there is still a big gap compared with imported cutting heads from abroad. The hardness of high-strength reflective film requires the engraving equipment to make the carved patterns and text clear and smooth. To ensure the quality of pasting, try to paste the carved patterns immediately, and do not place them for a long time. At least it should be guaranteed to be above 18 degrees at room temperature to avoid the decreasing of the adhesiveness of the reflective film shortening the effective service life. In addition, the pressure of the engraving machine should be adjusted moderately to avoid shortening the service life of the engraving equipment.

    3. Pattern and text design

    Before designing, fill in the most content in a limited space as much as possible. In the early stage of design, in order to test the standardization and rationality of traffic sign pole design, large samples of traffic sign pole layout can be made on the computer (generally, the specific pattern and text sizes are basically given in the construction drawings, and this step can be omitted). However, for temporary traffic sign pole design, initial experimental design demonstration is a good design method, which not only ensures the standardization and rationality of traffic sign pole design, but also saves manpower and material resources, and eliminates rework caused by unreasonable design.

    4. Details when applying film

    Because the traffic sign pole plate size is large, and the high-strength reflective film is brittle than the engineering reflective film, it is difficult to apply the film and bubbles will appear. In response to these reasons, effective measures must be taken, such as strictly controlling environmental sanitation in the processing workshop to avoid excessive humidity in the air; the humidity of the aluminum plate before filming should not be too low, and good humidity control is an important prerequisite for the durability of highway traffic sign poles. For the formed bubbles, treatment measures such as suction, blowing, and repairing were taken, and the results were relatively ideal.
